Welcome to Mike Boyes Nature Photography The Beauty of Nature is all around us Take a moment to pause and look around you at the magic and mystery of the natural world – a fleeting shaft of early morning light, perhaps, or clouds reflected in a still pond; early morning dew on a spider's web, or the delicate beauty of a petal backlit by the soft light of the setting sun. In my photography I try to capture something of the beauty and seemingly infinite variety of nature to be found close to home, right here in the UK. You do not have to travel to exotic locations to find it – many of my pictures have been taken in my garden or within a few miles of where I live in the Cotswolds. I enjoy using the patterns and colours to be found in nature creatively, particularly those in flowers and leaves through the seasons, in subtle changes of light, or in reflections at dawn or dusk. I aim to convey a sense of the peace to be found in these simple pleasures – there for all to see if you just open your eyes. I hope that you will enjoy looking through my pictures, and through them appreciate what a beautiful world we live in. We must do all we can to preserve habitats so that future generations can enjoy what we see today. Mike Boyes
