Fulmar

Fulmars are sometimes known as 'tubenoses'. They have two tubes, one located on either side of the beak. This adaptation is used to process salt in their diet, as they live most of their lives out on the ocean. Location: Cliffs at Seahouses, Northumberland, in June.
