Fulmars are majestic seabirds, graceful in flight as they glide low over the sea with wings straight, or riding the air currents close to cliff edges. A close relative of the albatross, they are expert gliders, speeding over the sea with scarcely a wingbeat. Location, Seahouses, Northumberland, in June.
