Approaching Little Langdale from the south-west

Approaching Little Langdale from the south-west

The path down from Greenburn to Little Langdale makes a beautiful walk, with the Tilberthwaite Fells on one side and Lingmoor Fell (left) on the other. It has the added bonus that you are likely to see wheatear, stonechats, willow warblers, pipits, skylarks and birds of prey, plus plenty of cotton grass and wildflowers - a real joy if you like nature and wildlife.
