Bourton Lakes, spring
Late afternoon sunshine in April combined with reflected clouds in clear blue water help to make this a pleasing image, but for me three things make it special: the bright new shoots of the weeping willow tree reflected in the water; the barn with its row of reflected pillars; and the tufted duck as a point of focus, with its arrow-shaped ripple wave pointing towards the centres of interest - the open barn and wonderful willow.
