On a hill overlooking the Windrush Valley one glorious early morning in winter, before the sun burned off the mists filling the valley, I took this picture of a lone tree at the bottom of a steeply-sloping arable field. Crows that could not fly in the valley below waited at the top of this tree for the mist to clear.
