Shapwick Heath, Avalon Marshes on the Somerset Levels, on a blustery February afternoon - an ideal place to watch starling murmurations during the winter. The extensive reed beds and waterways provide a habitat for many species, including Bittern, Herons, Marsh Harriers, Kingfishers, a Great White Egret, and plenty of wildfowl.
